we support our staff to use their own creative inputs to produce
high quality movies. As a team who's specialized fields include film production, video animation,
music production, sound engineering we each bring our own
skills into the development of our work. Thus creating not
just a "movie" but an experience.
All the videography crew
have trained and where certified in the Pro videography course as well as our internship
program . Along with their own areas of expertise and
training from DDP they have every skill required to film,
produce and edit any movie you require.
Its been a long time coming but Steve has finally completed his marine videography course and internship program. After a time of absence and working as a divemaster he returned to complete the internship program. It was if he had never left and picked up where he left off. Last night at the Crystal Dive Resort Bar he played his final movie from the Open Water training dives earlier in the day. The showing was a great success with a 100% on sales. This has given Steve a great start in the underwater videography business. He is now taking his skills to Greece where he is opening up his own video company. We wish him the best of luck in all he does
New videography trainee Jimmy was out with video trainer Dan & internship trainee Steve for two training dives to Twin Peaks. Steve is coming to the end of the internship program and is moving to Greece to start videography for one of the dive schools. Jim will be around for another 4 weeks undertaking the pro video course & internship.

Underwater video course testimonial
Nick D'Jong - I arrived in Thailand in the summer of 2007 to embark on a "learning to dive" adventure, i had already completed my divemaster training but fancied doing something a bit different so i signed up to deep down productions "Underwater Videography" course.
What struck me immediately was the vibe they had within there team, all very very friendly guys and a great team to work with. What i enjoyed the most was my one on one tuition that i received from Jase, the Divemaster training was always quite intense with lots to learn all the time however the underwater videography course was suited so that you could enjoy it in your own time and learn at your own pace. It was a much more enjoyable experience cruising about underwater with a video camera and i got a far greater appreciation for the variety of life that you can find on the reefs of Koh Tao. read more

Underwater Video crew @ Chumphon Pinnacle
The DDP crew where lucky enough to get to double dive the world famous chumphon pinnacle. We stayed the majority of the dive about 15-20 metres off the north end at 20-24 metres.
Aswell at the amazing bullsharks we were lucky enough to dive with another whales shark.
Also Jace filmed an unfortunate grouper who looks like he was the victim of a close encounter with one of the bulls. On the footage you can see the bite marks ( one side the puncture wounds and the other side the cut wounds ).
