Our Latest underwater video course trainee has started on her 26 dive program and is learning body postioning and bouyancy skills in the first module. Adrienne from New Zealand is already a PADI IDC Staff instructor and is looking to expand her skills in the underwater world. Being here for a short period (2-3 more weeks) we have already set the date for her showreel. Once she masters all the skills required she will be given a storyboard and choose a subject for her final movie. Then go out and shoot it, produce it and show it!!. We will host a showreel evening for Adrienne & Debbie on the 1st October 2010 at Dirty Nellies. Make a date in your Diary.
Everyday bring new footage for our underwater videographers and pro course trainees alike. Stu shot this grouper feeding on a pipe fish in a recent open water diver movie that he filmed for Crystal Dive Resort. Also filmed on the same dive was a hawksbill turtle, flatworm and a whole lot more.
This is perfect timing for new trainee Adrian to start the course tomorrow with less divers, perfect conditions and lots of fresh dive sites.
We have recently had the pleasure of filming and producing a promotional film for a UK based dive centre. The video will be used to promote technical diving to experianced recreational divers. On the dives we had Debbie and Stuart, both filming in AVCHD and 1080i, 3 divers for the film, the edit is taking shape and has a show date of 1st September 2010. We will also me making some short promos for crystal xtreme and crystal tech in the coming weeks.
